Michael has been working in the production business since 2009 when he started as an intern for several prestigious LA production companies including Tool of NA and Aero Film. It was here, as an apprentice to some of the best commercial directors in the world, that Michael cemented his love for filmmaking and storytelling. He stepped fully into directing in 2019 after ten years as a DOP and editor. Michael is refreshingly down to earth and easy to work with. He has a unique ability to communicate with actors of all experience levels and to coax a great performance out of nearly anyone. While his personal work veers toward dark comedy, Michael has proven his ability to direct in a number of genres and is always looking for a challenge.
